method somewhat later in life.  As a U of M medical school graduate

the strength to rise from a chair unassisted. Rochelle believes that
training in the classical Pilates method can provide the skills
needed to age well.  Rochelle loves to train clients and teach tower

Ronda Guimond
Ronda Guimond
Ronda started practicing yoga in 2009 after running numerous half and full marathons as a way to supplement her overall workout routine. She was focused primarily on the physical benefits of yoga and how it challenged her body. But after a severe humeral fracture resulting in hand surgery and restricted movements often taken for granted, she realized her physical body is not what makes her strong. It is finding patience and choosing how to react to challenges. Yoga elicits both of these personal disciplines. She trained under the tutelage of yogis with 20 years of experience in Ashtanga to become a RYS 200 certified yoga teacher.  She is a member of Yoga Alliance.  She has completed Classical 8 Limbed Path of Ashtanga Yoga with in-person instruction by world-renowned yogi Beryl Bender Birch, who studied with Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga.  She teaches primary series, Yoga Flow, and Vinyasa classes – all of which are under the Ashtanga style of yoga – and she has over 150 hours of teaching experience.  She has attended various workshops on Yin, meditation, yoga nidra, and adjustments.
